A two-part ponytail is also known as a double or stacked ponytail.
Made popular by Jennifer Aniston and more recently Lauren Conrad at the finale party of the Hills, thisstyle is an instant upgrade for your ponytail, making it more chic and voluminious.
Keep the lower ponytail hidden like the photo at the right, or make the look more distinct by leaving more space between the two ponytails.
How to make a stacked ponytail:
1. Separate the hair into two approximately equal sections, top and bottom.
2. Brush the top section back and pull it into a ponytail secured with a thin elastic.
3. Repeat step two with the bottom ponytail.

2. Gather teased hair into a ponytail halfway between nape and crown.
3. Curl the bottom section and pull into ponytail directly under the first.
4.For a morewoven look, take small pieces from the top ponytail and pin under the bottom tail.
