Okay, so my hair is really thick and reaches down to the small of my back at it’s longest (layers). I’m finally breaking down to get a new curling iron (mine is 10 years old, snaggs my hair, and doesn’t get hot enough). I’ve got a Jilbere de Paris straightner, my mom had heard they were just as good as Chi, and way cheaper. I love it, works great. My sister has the Jilbere de Paris curling iron. Thing is I went into Sally Beauty today and I saw this Tool Science curling iron, it gets up to 500 degrees (and I kinda like the coloring better though I know i shouldn’t care). Both are ceramic, the same price, just wondering which brand would be better to get.
And also size. With my length and thickness of hair. My old one is 1 1/4 in and I like the size the curls are, but with my length, would it be better to have a 1 1/2 in iron? The Tool Science one only comes in 1″ or 1.5″ so I would have to go with the larger one with that brand I’d think, but maybe I should just stick with Jilbere de Paris since I know the size and brand??? Help
