I have very healthy, very long fine hair. When I say “long,” I mean I can tuck it in my waistband. I bought a ceramic curling iron with a wide diameter, partly because when I use a thin one my hair wraps around so thickly that most of it doesn’t get hot. I’ve tried using hairspray, but it still goes limp. I don’t want to have to use so much hairspray that my hair is completely stiff and crunchy. What am I doing wrong?

go to youtube and type in ‘curling hair w/ curling iron’ you should come up with lots of videos on how to style hair..
sometimes it doesnt work for some people to curl there hair. mine wont work no mattter how much hairspray i use..
your might jus not be curling because it is soo long that its to heavy to withhold a curl in it
i hope i helped (try using hairspray)
Curling with hot iron, save your money. For fine hair that last only 1hr. Not only does iron damaged fragile thin hair, but it will make your hair stop from growing normally. Even with the best salon products, if you have thin hair, there’s not much you can do to it.
You can braid them in several sections, wear them at night, take them out & finger comb to style. They last for days, until your next shampoo.
The best hair style/cut is wash/wear. You should have silky, shiny, soft, smooth hair . . . like me.
the best way is just to tie your wet hair in small buns, and then blow dry it.I hate to damage my hair so i’ve been using this method for a long time and it always works.however, you might needa experiment a bit on how tight you want your bun to be.the looser the bun, you’ll get loose curls.go on youtube and you’ll be able to find many many videos on that!hope i helped!
