Is there really a brush better then all the others? Which and why?

My daughter is half black and half white. I have tried everything to make this experience better for her. I have bought detaingler. I give her a bath first. I use conditioner. I brush from the ends first. She still screams. How can I make this experience better for both of us.

Do you like to brush your hair?

I love to. I just cant stand for it to be nappy. I think that is because my mom always brushed it when i was little so I just love the feel of the bristles on my scalp.
